Active Ageing Programme

ELDERLY SERVICES

Supported by South East CDC and a core group of volunteers on a weekly basis, we engage over 200 seniors through a wide range of activities such as Karaoke, Line Dance, Rummy-O, Handicraft, exercise and more. Through a spectrum of regular and ad hoc activities we reach out to and promote a healthier lifestyle for the seniors in our community.

Weekly Active Ageing Programme

Our Weekly Active Ageing Programme, also affectionately called Happy 106, engaged over 400 participants in the last financial year. Seniors aged 50 and above who are able to move around independently are welcomed in any of the following activities.

Regular Interest Group

  • Table Tennis
  • Karaoke
  • Line Dance
  • Rummy-O Board Game
  • Zumba Gold

New Interest Group

  • Flamenco Fitness Dance
  • Low Impact Aerobics
  • Morning Walk

  • I find the exercises fun and light-hearted, even though I feel aches during the exercise, it is part of the process, but after the session, I feel happier and more relaxed.
