Be the change you wish to see in this world, to form a caring community together.

Help individuals & families, especially the disadvantaged & vulnerable.

Bethesda Care Services reaches out to the community by providing multi-prong and relevant CARE points through our 5 service departments. Our professional social services and programs help individuals and families, especially the disadvantaged and vulnerable staying in East side of Singapore.

This year, we invite you to join us. Be the change and help CARE for those in need.

Be The Change is the theme for our annual awareness campaign. We will be setting up physical booths at 300 Bedok North Ave 3 on August 19, 20 & 27. Come down and speak to our friendly BCS staff to find out more about our community works and explore many volunteer opportunities. Be the change and help CARE for those in need.

Volunteer Recruitment & Sponsorship Adoption Booths:

What changes would you like to see within the community?

Meet Sheryl and Ethan

Hear from Sheryl and Ethan as they share about their experiences in ITE College East as well as YouthSpace. As the two of them experience growth and discover a sense of belonging in the community, they too, begin to impact other youths.

Dream it.

What stirs your heart?

Volunteer Anne and Mr Cheang

Anne has been volunteering at Sunshine Club for the past two years. Likewise, Mr Cheang started delivering meals to our seniors about three years ago. Rain or shine, what keeps them coming back each week?

A calling. Take hold of it.

If not now, then when?

When paths merge

Hear from Mr Wellington, our corporate partner from Mitra Famosa International, as well as Susan and Barry, a couple who volunteered with us and helped to plan a Community Bonding event together with BCS.

Needs of the Community | Our Works

Our new youth department, YouthSpace, uses street culture, drop-in centre and ad hoc events to engage and create a community for the youths.

BCS @ College East, known to the student body as excITE, helps ITE youths to build resilience, connect with mentors and peers to serve the community.

Reaching the Youths director

We care for the needs of the frail and aged through our Meals-on-Wheels (MOW) as well as Medical Escort & Transport (MET) services which helps to send seniors for their medical check-ups and follow-ups at hospitals and polyclinics. Under our Active Ageing Program, we also conduct a range of empowering and engaging activities weekly that seek to promote both physical and cognitive health among seniors.

Caring for Seniors director

Families are often faced with many challenges, and sometimes require a helping hand. We provide welfare services in the form of food rations, grocery vouchers and bursary awards. Through counselling and casework, we provide practical assistance as well as emotional and mental well-being. Our Family Connect and Community Bonding events strengthen the foundational bonds of families and build a caring community.

Restoring Families director

Sunshine Club focuses on character development. Every 6 months, the centre adopts a new character trait theme such as patience, courage, etc. Extensive holiday programs and activities focus on instilling these character traits, and also encourage students to develop healthy social practices and emotional regulation skills.

Empowering Children director

Bethesda Care Services is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC). There will be 2.5 times* tax exemptions on cash donations worth $10 and above.
