Active Ageing Program


With the support of a core group of volunteers, we conduct weekly activities for seniors. Through both regular and ad hoc activities we reach out and promote a healthier lifestyle for the seniors in our community.

Our Weekly Active Ageing Program engaged over 400 participants in the last financial year. Seniors aged 55 and above who are able to move around independently are welcomed to join our regular interest groups and ad hoc workshops.

Health Talks & Ad hoc Workshops are also periodically conducted under our Active Ageing Program. We have frequent health talks cum cooking demo classes and bi-weekly Nurse Post conducted by Changi General Hospital Community Nursing team. We also engage external parties to run relevant workshops for our seniors.

  • I find the exercises fun and light-hearted, even though I feel aches during the exercise, it is part of the process, but after the session, I feel happier and more relaxed.
