Help deliver meals, befriend or conduct workshops for children, youths or seniors. Touch the lives of the needy in Singapore.


November 10, 2023, Friday night

Towards the end of every school year, BCS awards bursaries to resilient students from low-income families who are studying in Primary and Secondary schools in the eastern part of Singapore as well as ITE College East. The event is actually one of our biggest highlights of the year, and we need all hands on deck to help out at our BCS Bursary Award Ceremony 2023.

We are looking for volunteers to help as:

  • Ushers (4 pax) | 5.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Reception support (2 pax) | 4.30pm to 7.30pm


While we recognize that tuition program is a growing demand among the youths, however many are unable to afford tuition due to family financial circumstances. Hence, we are looking for people who are passionate in assisting youths with their academics.

  • Aged 19 and above, enjoys working with youths
  • Able to teach English, Maths or Science


Just a few hours is all it takes to make a difference.⁠
⁠Help bring simple comfort to the frail and homebound seniors by delivering meals to them.⁠ We are hoping to recruit regular volunteers who are able to commit for a minimum of 3 months and help with weekly meals delivery.

  • Able to drive or take public transport
  • Choose any day of the week
  • Choose either Lunch (10.30am to 12.30pm) or Dinner (3pm to 5pm) deliveries


Thursdays, 1.45pm to 3.14pm

Ding Ding! 叮叮! is one our many Active Ageing programs which is conducted weekly to help engage seniors and encourage mental wellness through mind stimulating games tailored for seniors. The program has been very well received by seniors in the community, and to allow more seniors to join us, we hope to recruit 2 volunteers to help facilitate the games.

  • Assists in conducting mind-stimulating games / activities for seniors
  • Bilingual, able to communicate with seniors effectively
  • Enjoys mingling with seniors
  • Able to commit weekly or fortnightly for at least 6 months


Tuesdays, 12.45pm to 3pm

In support of our weekly Active Ageing programs, we are currently looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about serving the seniors and willing to help us with our weekly Karaoke sessions. This volunteer should be able to:

  • Help to set up the room for session and clear room at the end
  • Help operate the karaoke sound system
  • Maintain orderliness and smooth running of session
  • Able to speak Mandarin
  • Able to commit weekly or fortnightly for at least a year
