Christmas Gifts for the Low-income Elderly, Families and Children

This Christmas, spark joy in the lives of those in need and help make the wishes of 25 homebound seniors and other individuals or families in need come true!

Your donation will also provide year-round assistance to the needy clients of Bethesda Care Services. It will be disbursed in the form of food rations, vouchers, and financial assistance throughout the year. The funds will also be utilized to meet immediate ad-hoc household or education needs.

Watch the following video to see how last year’s #AllIWantForChristmas (AIWFC) donations have impacted many lives and provided practical assistance to the elderly, families and children.

Make Your Christmas 'Others-centred'

Our annual #AllIWantForChristmas campaign (AIWFC) is about making Christmas others-centred and not me or we-centred. The campaign focuses on raising awareness about the practical household needs of low-income families and the homebound seniors.

Pledge Your Christmas

If you wish to pledge your Christmas presents to the vulnerable in the community, you may also set up your own fundraiser here. Through your personal fundraising page, you’d be able to ask friends to donate to AIWFC instead of getting presents for you this Christmas. Download this toolkit and guide to get started.

Sharul Aidil, 50, and his elderly mother have been BCS clients since early 2021. They receive monthly welfare assistance in the form of grocery vouchers. Thanks to the #AllIWantForChristmas funds raised last year, Sharul had his new water heater installed in April 2022. The funds were also used to purchase an anti-slip mat and new bedsheets.

Sharul and his mother are one of the many beneficiaries whose lives have been touched by the #AllIWantForChristmas campaign. Do support our #AllIWantForChristmas campaign this Christmas and help us continue to spark joy in the lives of those in need.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Your donation in support of this #AllIWantForChristmas campaign will help meet the needs of the frail and aged homebound seniors, low-income families, youths and children staying in the East region of Singapore – clients of Bethesda Care Services.

Your AIWFC donation will firstly fulfil the Christmas wishes of some of our needy clients. Your donations will provide meals, toys and practical household items to the frail and aged seniors, low-income families and youths. The remaining amount will provide year-round assistance to them in year 2023.

Year-round assistance will be disbursed in the form of food rations, vouchers, and financial assistance throughout the year. It will also be used to meet immediate ad-hoc household needs (such as Sharul’s water heater) or education needs. Any remaining funds will then be used to help us continue our community services and programs.
