Be a BCS Advocate: How 6-Year-Old Jonathan Raised $11,000 Through His Birthday Fundraiser

At just six years old, Jonathan discovered that helping others can start with something as simple as sharing what you love.

Instead of receiving presents for his birthday, Jonathan decided to celebrate differently. He started a fundraising page for Bethesda Care Services (BCS) and invited family and friends to support the cause.

But Jonathan did not stop there.

A passionate soccer fan, Jonathan created his own video game, Crazy Soccer! He drew the characters himself and even designed his favourite soccer ball, the Glazed Donut.

What started as a fun project became part of his fundraising journey. Jonathan used his creativity and love for soccer to support a cause that mattered to him.

His birthday fundraiser raised $11,000 for BCS, an incredible achievement for a six-year-old.

Jonathan’s story shows that anyone can make a difference, regardless of age. You do not need a big platform or a large amount of money to get started. A birthday, hobby or personal interest can become an opportunity to raise funds and support the community.
